I haven't contributed much to the lessening of my in-progress knitting. I worked last weekend on the back of a new project for myself. I guess just to take the pressure off. But now, I'm dilegently working on my step-father's hat, which I've already had to rip out once cause it wouldn't fit on my head, let alone his. I'm about 4 inches in, and although the stitches are nice and even, I noticed a huge mistake--it's 3x3 ribbing, but the first 3 and the last 3 are both knit, and since it's round, they're right next to each other making one massive rib of 6 stitches. but i'm not going to say anything, since you have to really be examining it to tell. I should have that done by this weekend, and hopefully can start on the matching scarf. Yep, I'm crazy. I will maybe have time to sew on the various buttons that need to be sewn as well, in order to say that the projects are done, but I'm really dreading that, so maybe not.
That's it. So it's been a time of intense backslide. I ripped out the poncho, haven't started it again (although I did find a better pattern), I started a new project, which has just resulted in ONE MORE UNFINISHED THING ON MY LIST, and am still struggling with finishing christmas presents. bleh.
